There are many rebates and tax incentives for purchasing and installing a Level 2 charging station at your home or business. These vary by area, so check with your local utility company to see if there are incentives to take advantage of in your area, including a time-of-use rate. In case you hadn’t already heard the great news, we are pleased to announce you can once again take advantage of a federal tax credit for installing electric vehicle charging stations at your home or business. Congress has renewed the Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit , which provides a tax credit of 30% of the purchase and installation cost of electric vehicle charging stations. The tax credit is valid for all 2016 installations and is retroactive for 2015 projects.
