The electric car’s revenge arrives in the UK: Revenge of the Electric Car, the sequel to the 2006 film Who Kille...

Revenge of the Electric Car, the sequel to the 2006 film Who Killed the Electric Car? finally arrives for its screen debut in the UK. On general release from July 20, 2012, there are a number of London previews planned, the first of which aired last Sunday (May 27). Directed by Chris Paine, the documentary film focuses on the ambitions of four men; Bob Lutz, former chief executive of GM, Carlos Ghosn CEO of Nissan, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and Greg ‘Gadget’ Abbott, who are all playing a pivotal role in resurrecting the electric car. Each has a different approach to developing and launching electric cars. Bob Lutz is credited with ending the EV1 project which would have seen GM launch electric cars back in the 1990s.
