Reevaluating the Mitsubishi i-MiEV in context, at home

I hope people interested in ev's won't give too much weight to negative reviews like this. So much of what this reviewer wrote is subjective. If you test drive a MiEV, you may find yourself agreeing with the reviewer, but you may not. I just picked up my new MiEV five days ago and I love it. I'm 5' 10" and find the driver position very comfortable. I have the seat back to the next-to-last notch. It has a height adjustment feature that makes getting a comfortable position very easy. As for driveability it is a huge mistake to treat the MiEV or any ev car as a gas engine car. If you buy one of these your goal has to be reduced energy usage, so sticking the car in "D" mode and hammering the accelerator makes no sense. With a mixture of highway and local street driving and using "Evo" mode primarily and "D" mode only when I have to, I've been achieving 75 plus miles every time...
