Electric Tuk-Tuk Ready For Philippines

These vehicles have a top speed of 50 km/h (31 mph), and can travel 31 miles per charge. It takes two hours to charge their batteries. The price will be $6,300 per vehicle. Drivers can obtain the vehicle on a lease-to-own basis. It will be difficult for the electric tuk-tuk to compete with the gasoline-powered one which costs $1,000 to $1,500, but the fuel savings could eventually make up the difference.
