This year's Labour get-together begins in Manchester on Sunday. And Friends of the Earth are calling on the Shadow Chancellor to put green jobs and industry at the heart of his vision for economic recovery. We've set out five key demands. Greenest opposition ever? The coalition Government might claim to be the 'greenest ever', but the opposition also has a key role to play. So far the Labour Party has been muted on the environment . That needs to change. The Shadow Chancellor should show he's serious about green measures - starting in Manchester this weekend. Friends of the Earth will be there to hold him to account.
