Stanford Students Answer Environmental Dilemmas from the Public
whether barefoot running is green to the thorny conundrum of plastic versus paper versus reusable bags , our very own Pablo has answered many an environmental dilemma in his time. But he's not alone in dispensing sound, science-driven environmental advice. In fact Erin Craig of Terrapass tells us that graduate students at Stanford taking the upper division/graduate course "Sustaining Action: Research, Analysis and Writing for the Public" are required to respond to questions from the public in a regular column entitled SAGE: Sound Advice for a Green Earth . Recent topics range from the financial and environmental impact of high speed rail to the ecological implications of electric vehicle manufacture , and the answers are thoroughly researched and carefully explained. Awesome stuff.
