UK: Milton Keynes to trial electric buses that charge wirelessly by @BusinessGreen #CleanRevolution

Hopes that Britain's bus routes could one day be powered entirely by electricity and recharged through wireless networks buried in the roads, are to move a step closer to being realised when Milton Keynes becomes the first council to deploy the technology on a bus route. Eight organisations, led by Arup and Mitsui Europe, today signed a five-year deal promising to replace diesel buses on the Number 7 route in Milton Keynes with an all-electric system by summer next year.
