The best alternative is to purchase these household products from companies that utilize recycled materials. After all, there's no reason the paper you use to blow your nose needs to come from brand new trees. Companies like Seventh Generation offer many alternatives to the traditional paper products you see in stores, providing toilet paper, tissues, paper towels and napkins all made from recycled paper. In the case of their paper towels, the company claims on their website that they have made improvements in the towels that consumers will be able to see, including a better feel and more absorbancy.
