Energy Orb Kicks You Off Your Computer Until You Ride Your Bike

For those of us who have trouble pulling away from the computer even when we know we need to take a break to exercise, stretch, and clear our heads, designers Janko Hofmann and Fabian Pammer have come up with a device that will make it a little less difficult. The Personal Energy Orb is a small device that connects to your computer and to your bike. While at home, you attach it to your computer and it controls the speed of the mouse. The less energy it has, the less it will allow you to move your mouse (and the more frustrated you'll get!) until you have to take a bike break to recharge it. Move it from your computer to your bike, and it recharges as you pedal. In other words, exercise breaks become mandatory for computer use, rather than the "should do" task that you really end up skipping most of the time.
