In the Green Room with Carbon Trust's Tom Delay - Business Green

Tom Delay is chief executive of the Carbon Trust. He joined in 2001, following a career with Shell and management consultancy McKinsey & Co, and has since established himself as one of the UK's leading advocates of green business models. In the first of a new series, BusinessGreen caught up with Delay to talk about his career, his idols and his sandals. How did you get your role at the Carbon Trust? I saw the only ad for my job ever placed in The Sunday Times , which was a miracle because I don't read Sunday papers generally and I wasn't looking for a job. I thought to myself there are two great things about this job. One, it's a start up. I'd always worked in big businesses and it was a chance to start something very small.
