It is "amazing" how authorities are incapable of dealing with bullying (in all its forms, including physical violence, name calling and social exclusion) and pretend that it does not exist but are very quick to blame and punish the victim for refusing to go to school, for being late, or for even talking about suicide or violence. In the last two cases, the victim is even sometimes placed in a psychiatric institution, which labels them for life. In my case, the teacher was even known to ridicule me in front of the whole class. My parents also blamed me. It is not just the suffering thet the bullying causes; that would bother me less if I were "rewarded" in some other way, such as getting top grades or the top wage (since bullying/mobbing also occurs at work). However, a lot of situations at school, university and work require that one work in pairs or as part of a team. If ...
