Nuclear power, along with Nuclear bombs, is NOT one of man's best invention. The oceans along with the air carry radioactive particles stemming from countless Nuclear tests,conducted in the past, and from the Nuclear Power plant disasters and etc.... There are different types of radioactive elements that take more than a generation to fully decay... Although Nuclear Power is regarded as clean energy, it is NOT that clean. Flaws in construction or design of the plants etc..is one thing, potential human error is another, spent radioactive fuel rods need to be disposed (an enviromental toxin that needs to be contained in a safe place as it decays further), there can be small radioactive leakages from plants which goes unannounced, companies are more concerned in their bottom lines and don't invest in appropriate upgrades and safety measures and then there is the devastations ...
