To those who wrote back, thank you First - and forgive me for not referencing yr names; I can only reply on a phone, and it's not that easy to negotiate - I know the horses like their jobs from personal experience, as I have been involved in horse rescue/rehab/ retraining for many years now. Not all of them do, sadly, and there are abuses, many of which the industry is working, too slowly, to overcome. But the majority are well treated and happy. Horses are born to run.. They compete, and injure themselves, even in their paddocks and turnout fields. ( I think we can take for granted that the stallions like their jobs....) To the other poster - yes, too many horese are bred. This is working itself out,albeit too slowly, and partly for financial purposes. But don't duck the question.
