Gaddafi's Youngest Son Reported Killed in NATO Airstrike

A Libyan government spokesman said that a NATO airstrike killed Saif al-Arab, Col. Muammar el-Gaddafi's youngest son, and three of the Libyan leader's grandchildren. Gaddafi himself was in the large residential villa that was struck but was not injured, says the BBC . There is still one undetonated bomb in the building, which was heavily damaged by at least three missiles. 29-year-old Saif al-Arab had studied in Germany and recently returned to Libya. He had a "lower profile than his brother Saif al-Islam." From the BBC : Government spokesman Moussa Ibrahim said the villa was attacked "with full power." "The attack resulted in the martyrdom of brother Saif al-Arab Muammar Gaddafi, 29 years old, and three of the leader's grandchildren," he said.
