As a blogger about biking , especially for women, I'm always mentally searching for the secret sauce that gets people to ride. Is it fashion, cute bikes, or tons of infrastructure? For me, the secret sauce was a Sanyo eneloop and the simple realization that no matter the weather (and Portland's weather is about the worst) I feel better biking. However, realizing that that might not work for all the city's inhabitants, Bike Portland reports on Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) going one better - giving students (and faculty) up to 50 dollars a month for riding their bikes.
