I recently watched a 3 hour presentation on climate change. The overall theme of this documentry was “less carbon, less energy”. The trend of global warming hasn’t changed in 100 years. The ocean is set to rise another foot by the end of this century, same as last century and the century before that. So, even if I believed that human carbon was increasing global temps, I highly disagree with the Eco-Mantra of “less carbon, less energy”. If the Eco folks wanted to win me over I’d like to hear “3 X less carbon and 3 X more energy”. Humans can act smart or very, very stupid. There is no reason that nuclear and fusion cannot bring carbon levels drastically down while drastically increasing energy. I hate spending the money and time with gas powered cars, messy oil furnaces, choking rides on the highway due to deisal and gas, a gas lawn mowers and snow blowers that never start....
