How All Professional Roles Contribute to Sustainability

Another area where people can contribute to a company’s sustainability is the way they conduct their meetings. The Green Meetings Industry Council has worked with representatives for every facet of meeting planning: catering, lodging, meeting sites, lighting, transportation, shipping, etc to come up with definitive sustainability standards for meetings that everyone can agree on. These standards can also be measured. They are called the APEX Standards and they are almost complete.
