Tone down some of your PC components . Do you really need to use a very high-end graphics card, or would it be possible to have the same relative gaming experience using a mid-range graphics card? The main issue here is more than just the raw energy needed to power the component, but also the TDP (thermal design power) needed to efficiently cool the system. Heat is relative to energy loss, and the more heat your system accumulates, the more energy it needs to stay within optimal operational levels. Don’t be too much of an overclocking freak . Though the thrill of being able to boost your PC to more than what it could usually handle is perfectly understandable, do bear in mind that this would exponentially consume more energy than normal.
