Flint sparks fight with government over green industrial policy - Business Green

By Caroline Flint's own admission, being in opposition is not exactly a bed of roses. The recently appointed shadow energy and climate change secretary faces the task of scrutinising the government's actions and holding ministers to account. She must also deal with the longer-term need to put forwards effective policies of Labour's own – even if there is "a danger the government will pinch them" – and the overarching requirement to work with political opponents to address the challenges presented by climate change.
