Their manufacturing costs are $1.42 to $1.58/Watt. Potentially up to $1.62/Watt due to low utilization in Q4 and 2012 presumably. How can these guys possibly compete with these sorts of numbers? I don’t see many more CVSR scores coming along. What is it that Total and Sarasin see? They make a great product for sure and they’ve done a wonderful job lobbying for and developing projects but the high manufacturing costs are going to do them in. Moving over into concentrating solar looks like a hail mary pass to me. What did Swanson call CPV?
