#How to have a 'green' Christmas

#How to have a 'green' Christmas

"Another way to make the Holidays more sustainable is to use a living tree as your Christmas tree. For many years, my family has used a potted Norfolk Pine as our Christmas tree. While not as large or full as the traditional trees, Norfolk Pines can grow to be quite large and in my opinion, they make quite an attractive Christmas tree. These trees are a great addition to a house year round and they simply need to be decorated come Christmas time, saving much time and effort. They also eliminate the need to cut a tree each year or to buy a fake plastic tree, saving valuable resources. The use of our Norfolk Pine has become a Christmas tradition in our house and I would like to see more people adopt it as their tradition as well." Jeff H. Aurora, MN
