Welcome to our new contributor, California-based, Samantha Javier. I’m sure plenty of you have heard about LUSH Cosmetics, but have you heard of Toothy Tabs ? Regular toothpaste usually comes in aluminum plastic tubes that end up in landfills because many recycling programs don’t take them, which just adds more waste to our planet. Also, regular toothpaste can contain dangerous and unhealthy ingredients in order to preserve it and make it taste better, like Titanium Dioxide, yuck ! Toothy Tabs give everyone a simple way to contribute to lessening that waste in our landfills while still having a fresh, clean, and healthy smile! Although this alternative toothpaste is a bit pricier, at $4.95 for a box of 40 tabs, the tradeoff of health and being more sustainable and eco-friendly is definitely worth it.
