Why do we have such a hard time seeing the bigger picture?" That's one of the questions Director Tiffany Shlain asks in her new film Connected . In addition to assessing our relationship to technology and how we've become addicted to IMs, emails, tweets and check-ins, the film asks some important questions we'll need to answer in order to address problems like unsustainable consumerism, collapsing economies and global climate change.
