Occupy Austin Launches Revolutionary Radio Station | Care2 Causes

Since October 6th, Austin, Texas, has been home to a growing occupation of 99%-ers who are fed up with the corporate control of our government and financial system. Now, the city that’s known around the world for its legendary live music scene will be home to another musical revolution: the first independent radio station of the Occupy Wall Street movement. Occupy Radio Austin launches tomorrow, October 15th, just in time for the global day of action that will connect new and ongoing protests in over 900 cities around the world. Occupy Radio Austin will be an 100% volunteer operated, 100% commercial free, online streaming radio station dedicated to telling the stories and playing the music of the 99%.
