Occupy Wall Street Movement Goes International On Oct. 15th | Care2 Causes

It only took 3 weeks for the Occupy Wall Street protests to fan out across America. Right now, there are at least 118 active, ongoing Occupations in the United States thus far, and 1,367 communities in some stage of planning or preparation. This is the Daily Kos map of U.S. Occupations as of three days ago: Hundreds more communities all over the world will be active or begin Occupations on October 15th, which is being called a day of #globalchange . Critics and naysayers will soon find it hard to belittle Occupy Wall Street for it’s limited reach or lack of public endorsement, as there are already over 700 cities around the world that have agreed to participate in the coordinated day of global protest.
