Who says naughty can’t be nice? British lingerie-maker Ayten Gasson takes the dichotomy in stride this fall with a capsule collection of cruelty-free underpinnings. Stitched in one of England’s last remaining underwear factories, the saucy, vintage-inspired knickers comprise Ahimsa or “peace” silk , the production of which leaves the pupa unharmed. The limited-edition range includes a camisole, tap pant, and teddy in matrimonial ivory, trimmed in vintage cotton lace from Nottingham and hand-finished in London with tiny ribbon bows.
