Rebecca Desnos has recently launched her range of naturally dyed textiles, in which she designs and makes a range of luxury, eco-conscious accessories, using sustainable fabrics and plant dyes. Plant dyes are a beautiful, natural alternative to chemical dyes and the colours actually mature over time. Natural dyeing is a lengthy process, so time is invested in each piece with a focus on quality rather than quantity, to create something beautiful and long lasting. When we buy something of quality, we cherish it forever . Rebecca is inspired by this notion and aims to create textiles that people will treasure for years. The sumptuously soft bamboo scarves are hand dyed in small quantities using the traditional Japanese technique of Shibori, which is a form of resist dyeing.
