Another aspect that sets Eco Fashion Week in Vancouver apart from other fashion weeks is their devotion to education. The industry seminar series that runs on the last day of Eco Fashion Week, after all of the runway shows, is an opportunity to learn more about why Eco Fashion Week does what it does. The Smart Talks are a forum for learning, discussing ideas and sharing information, and about creating a dialogue around why Eco Fashion Week exists. The goal of Eco Fashion Week is to create awareness; on innovative designers, on consumer options, and on the issues and solutions we are seeing around responsible fashion.
