Don’t say Jamie Oliver never did anything to combat childhood obesity. The dude is selfless, and to prove it he has partnered with Causes.com for his upcoming birthday, and is asking that people donate to create more Food Revolutionaries in lieu of gifts. On the donation page Jamie writes, “For my birthday on May 27th, I’m asking anyone who believes in the Food Revolution for a special gift: help me raise $25,000 to Spark a Food Revolution – Train 1,000 Food Revolutionaries. It’s a great cause that I truly believe can make a difference, and can help fight the battle against obesity and diet-related diseases, the biggest killer in America today.” He launched the birthday wish campaign last week and said , “I chose Spark a Food Revolution – Train 1,000 Food Revolutionaries because together we can get cooking teachers back in the community, and get children and adults cooking...
