Jewel-like glass box deftly extends a Victorian house in London's Mile End

Here's a wonderful way to combine old with new. London-based HÛT Architecture refurbished and extended this Victorian home in London with a "jewel-like glass box" that houses a new dining room. The architects made sure to keep the building's original features and Victorian aesthetic, while making it more suitable for a modern lifestyle, and the result is delightful.
