The Barbarian Group's crazy 4400-sq-ft desk puts your work surface to shame

using low cost materials such as plywood, MDF, and plate steel. It was then flat-packed, shipped, and assembled on-site, reducing transportation costs and energy. The top surface is a medium density fiberboard, material similar to a surfboard shell, and took a day and a half to be poured on site. According to Barbarian Group, the sculptural piece was lower in cost than standard office cubicles and its unbroken awesomeness symbolizes the continuous flow of ideas and people.
