Our love of Nutella is wrecking the Earth | Inhabitat - Sustainable Design Innovation, Eco Architecture, Green

–the stuff that makes that wonderful Nutella goodness–is grown at the expense of forests, habitats for orangutans and Sumatran tigers, and contributes to climate change . Each hour, an area the size of 300 football fields (that’s massive) is cleared to make way for more palm oil. Orangutans and Sumatran tigers will be extinct soon if this keeps up. We could lose Sumatran tigers in as few as three years, according to the World Wildlife Fund.
