Kite Hill's Vegan Cheese A Rising Star in Grocery, Culinary Circles
Ronnen’s pursuit of well-made (and delicious) vegan cheese is a fairly recent one. Four years ago, while he was helping hotel magnate Steve Wynn develop vegan menus for his Las Vegas properties, he watched chefs literally spit out some of his vegan cheese, which was a turning point for him. Since then, he’s been committed to create cheeses loved equally by vegans and carnivores, thus his reason behind Kite Hill. Ronnen co-founded the company with like-minded people, including biochemist Pat Brown and Monte Casino, a former instructor in cheese making at Le Cordon Bleu cooking school.
