SolarCity’s new Buffalo plant will create 5,000 jobs in New York #GreenClean

Buffalo, New York is one of the many U.S. cities suffering an economic depression in the wake of manufacturing decline, but Elon Musk is taking a chance on the border town with a multi-billion dollar investment. SolarCity , the solar panel installer of which Musk is founder and chairman, sealed the deal to build a massive factory in Buffalo at a long vacant Republic Steel plant. From construction to operation and supply chain, the solar panel plant is expected to add around 5,000 jobs to the greater Buffalo area and throughout New York.
