LUV Fleabags Turns Pendleton Indian Blankets Into Limited-Edition Bags

For Shira Entis, the creative director of Fleabags , her perseverance for hunting down vintage fabric paid off when she discovered the textile equivalent of the Holy Grail: a cache of deadstock Pendleton wool. The 100-year-old wool purveyor, which still manufactures its wares in Oregon mills, is legendary for its cozy, jacquard-loomed textiles, including the Indian blankets it used to trade with the Southwest Native American tribes. Now, thanks to Entis, some of the company’s forgotten stock is seeing the light of day as limited-edition—and highly covetable—upcycled-wool bags.
