The 21st Century thermostat has arrived. Well actually , a much better looking 21st Century Thermostat has arrived. Programmable, wireless, iPhone-merging wall units have been around for some years now, but this is the first one that guests might actually want to touch just to play with it. It comes to us from Nest , which was founded by the creator of the iPod, and made with the same precision beauty we’re used to seeing straight out of Cupertino. Obviously, home energy savings can be significant with a programmable thermostat in the home (I’m guilty of forgetting to turn things down at night with the standard.)
