EcoTextile News - Ethiopian textiles back on track?

The Kombolcha Industrial Park (KIP), in northern Ethiopia is set to start production in February 2018, according to an announcement by an Ethiopian official. Despite the concerns previously reported by Ecotextile News about sourcing from companies in southern Ethiopia (Omo Valley), the nation’s government, in partnership with Chinese investors, is pressing ahead with investments in the textile industry.
