Conergy Greece: Second megawatt solar park deal closed within two weeks

After implementing the 1.5 megawatt big solar park in Arta, Conergy continues its successful track record in the Greek solar market. The Hamburg based solar expert builds its second megawatt-sized project in Greece within just two weeks. The new 2 megawatt solar power plant is located in Grevena (Pylori), 200 kilometers west of Thessaloniki. On an area of 6 hectare, 8,856 Conergy PowerPlus 225P modules produce 2,900 megawatt hours of clean electricity per year – enough for 645 households and avoiding approximately 2,180 tons of CO2 emissions annually. After completion of the two-month construction, two Conergy CIS central inverter stations feed the solar energy into the grid.
