German onshore wind adds 1.89GW in H1, expects up to 4.4GW in FY 2016 amid boom ahead of switch to tenders:

German onshore wind additions soared in the first half, and the sector expects very strong expansion volumes this year and next, as developers rush to get projects licensed and completed ahead of a change in the support system to one based on tenders.
