To quote a line from a commercial that some will recall, “Why ask why?” You and I know the Washington state “plan” of Jacobson is ludicrous, and examples like this show how out of touch and how far out in “left field” many, many of these Ph.D.’s actually are. You’d think that his B.S. in civil engineering would give him half a clue as to what he is actually promoting here. As you and I know, limiting the Columbia River to 28% of energy percentage consumed in Washington from it’s current (and assumed maximum) of 74% will cause massive, massive, MASSIVE(!) amounts of “intentionally spilled” water every year. For those who do not know, intentionally spilled water is water put directly over the spillways of a dam intentionally when it could be run through the turbines and generating clean, extremely low carbon electrical energy.
