Nissan LEAF has entered the record books… again. The multi-award winning vehicle has set the record for the largest parade of electric vehicles. A convoy of 225 cars was driven around the Silverstone circuit to break the Guinness Word Record for ‘largest parade of electric vehicles’. The Nissan Leaf smashed the previous record of 218 cars, which was achieved by Chrysler in the US. Nissan Leaf owners throughout the UK travelled far and wide to be part of the record breaking convoy. Paul O’Neill, Nissan’s product manager for Leaf commented: “It was great to see so many LEAFs on the track at the same time. We are delighted to have broken the Guinness world record and want to thank all the owners who helped us achieve this, we couldn’t have done it without them.” The event was organised by Nissan to bring together owners of the world’s best selling electric car at Silverstone ...
