London cabbies to lead EV wireless charging trial

London cabbies to lead EV wireless charging trial: London is about to host one of Europe’s first extensive trial...

Although it will be some time before this first extensive on-the-road trial gets properly underway, Qualcomm has already named for the six locations* for the wireless charging points, based in and around London. One of the stations will be at Chargemaster’s Luton headquarters, where the firm expects to trial at least one wireless charging car. A Renault Fluence Z.E fitted with the Halo charging technology is expected to join the firm shortly, while one of the old Citroen C1 EVies could also be joining the firm within the coming months.
