Proof again that electric cars are neither slow nor boring; behold, the #EV @BMW E30 M3!

Rimac claims that the FIA certified the e-M3 as the quickest EV over 1,000 kgs in both the 1/8th and ¼ mile drags, running a 7.549 and 11.808 seconds respectively. That is fast, much faster than stock, but cars like the Black Current Bug , DC Plasma Fiero , and Warp Factor III Camaro out there as fast, if not faster, I’m not sure I buy the claim. Maybe once the Rimac Concept_One electric supercar hits the market, the claim will be more convincing. I’ll have to do more digging into what classes these other electric drag racers fall into.
