Both claims are completely illegal under the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act and goes against what is written in the written Tesla Model S warranty (which states you don't necessarily have to visit a Tesla service center to do service nor does it say you must buy the Tesla Service plan to keep your warranty, but improperly done or lack of service can void your warranty, a statement that matches a typical warranty language and is legal).
