LIfecycle Energy Efficiency Of Mercedes GLE 500 e Lower

Mercedes has done a total lifecycle analysis of the GLE 500 e — its first plug-in hybrid SUV. Its figures show the car takes 23% more energy to produce than the same model without the plug-in hybrid powertrain. But once out of the factory and on the road, the GLE 500e is far more efficient that its conventional cousin.
