@autobloggreen Number Of The Day: 2,500 Chevy Volts! #ABGDaily

There have been a number of factors that have increased Volt sales. (in no particular order): 1) Volts became eligible for Military/Credit Union/College Student/etc discounts in the last month or two 2) Chevy is giving (select?) dealerships a $2500 dollar credit if they hit certain targets. This is a traditional way to clear out the old model year cars off of lots at the end of summer before the new model year cars hit the lots. Chevy didn't do this last year, so this is new for the Volt, but old news for the automobile industry in general. 3) More California emissions models have become available, and California dealerships have been able to flush out their old stock of Volts that did not qualify for HOV lane stickers. 4) Dealerships who pissed off customers with huge markups over MSRP no longer exist.
