I think creating a websites that tracks all the rental location with available Charging Stations would go a long way of using "market force" to push landlords into providing this facility. I really don't understand the big resistance against it. It is NO different than installing an Electric Dryer Outlet. Sure, the EVSE cost money. But some of them are as cheap as $800 (Clipper Creek). Plenty of rental places charge additional rent for parking spaces. Well, they can offer EV spaces with additional charges on top of the parking space. $50-$100 per month in additional rent charge will more than offset the installation charges...
