Electric car maker, Fisker is seeking a injection of $150 million in order to tie it over until the launch of its second model, according to Reuters. A key investor told the publication that the company has already raised more than $1 billion in private funding since 2007, when the carmaker was first established. But earlier this year, Fisker was frozen out of a more than half of a $529 million government loan which it intended to use to bring its Nina model to production. According to the US government, the Californian start-up had failed to stick to production milestones agreed as part of the loan. But Fisker’s first model, the range-extended sports car, Karma, is already rolling off the production line, with something in the region of 700 models already delivered. Its second model, codenamed Project Nina, which is expected to be sold as the Fisker Atlantic when it final...
