China plans to develop national Intelligent Transport System by 2020 4 August 2012 TRL. The Ministry of Transport in China has announced a plan to develop an (ITS) intelligent transport system to be rolled out across the country by 2020. The Ministry suggests that the ITS will help to facilitate the movement of vehicles and support more economic growth for China. An ITS conference will be held in Beijing to encourage private investment in the field and help put the plans into place.
