Seat has recently revealed an Ecomotive version of its budget-priced A4 alternative, the Exeo. Now emitting just 117g/km, the 2.0-litre TDI is offered in both 120hp and 143hp guise, meaning SEAT now has two variants coming in below the 120g/km CO2 barrier. Make that four: it’s offered in ST estate guise too, with the same CO2 figure and same 62.8mpg average economy. That’s impressive. Given how more and more fleets are now making buying decisions based on value for money as well as green credentials – and ensuring CO2 is even more of a key parameter than ever – SEAT is actually pretty well placed to do well with this new model. Particularly as, when it arrives in the autumn, the buzz from the all-new Leon should also be drawing people to dealers.
